My Flights – New update, New features
My Flights version 1.3 is now available with new features.
You can now forward the details of any of your bookings to any email address, including quick access to anyone in your contacts. You can send detailed information (including ticket numbers and booking references), or just the basic information (with flights and passengers) – simply toggle the Detail / Basic view button in the Booking view before you press the Email envelope.
Additionally you can Copy & Paste any of the booking details – simply double tap on any of the booking details, and the iPhone Copy menu will pop up – tap on Copy and that’s it. Now go to any document, email etc. and Paste the information. Simples.
As with the previous version, you don’t have to open the App to know if your bookings have changed. Push Notifications means that our servers will check your bookings regularly… so you don’t have to. If one of your booking has changed, you’ll receive an alert on your iPhone or iPod Touch so you’re always in the loop.
Don’t rely on confirmation emails when My Flights will check the actual reservations held by the airlines.

Very good application, I hope you guys doing well and keep developing it? Here are 2 things I was thinking of for the future:
1) possibility to update my calendar with flight data from your app (button click and the flights are in the cal). I am using a system of calendar travel records in the following format (example):
09:40-13:50 VIE-FRA (LH1234, BQN5WL, F) – which is
HH:MM-HH:MM – (, , )
2) A Mac Application doing all the same stuff
3) Sort of seamless sync of the currently opened flights between devices and Mac program.
Kind Regards,
Yuriy.
Hi y3k,
I am currently working on version 2.0 of My Flights, which will include both calendar integration and syncing across devices (iPhones & iPads). There are currently no plans for a Mac version as yet… I’ll keep it on the wish list though 🙂
Thanks for your comments,
Chris
